About the Program

Canada Futures offers players ages U14 to U19 the opportunity to showcase their skills and abilities to college coaches. The team travels through Georgia, Alabama and Florida while playing against some of the top Junior Colleges and NAIA schools in the southern United States. The team tours NCAA Division I and NCAA Division II campuses like Florida State University, Auburn University, Mercer University, Georgia College & State University among others along the way. During these tours the girls get the opportunity to see world class facilities and not only compete against but also interact with current college players and coaches.

About the Tour

The tour is designed to give athletes an opportunity to experience life as a college athlete. Players are expected to keep up with their academics while on the road through designated study hall times. Athletes are held to a high standard and are expected to conduct themselves as future college athletes should.

The team flies to Atlanta, Georgia for a week typically during or shortly after the Canadian Thanksgiving break. We stay in college dorms and hotels and eat at restaurants that offer a true southern experience. Sweet Tea and Chik-Fil-A are staples of the trip.

Tour 2021

We are currently estimating a player fee of around $1,500 for this year’s tour. This cost includes charter bus transportation, uniforms, tours, accommodations and 3 meals a day. Flights are not included.

The uniforms will consist of a cage jacket, 3 uniform shirts and a visor. Players will be responsible for their own pants and socks.

Parent cost is $225 and includes access to the hotel room block, campus tours, daily information updates and one-on-one conversations with the Canada Futures coaches about recruiting, their player’s performance and college playing potential. Limited seats are available on the bus at a “per seat” cost. This will be calculated once bus costs and seat availability are determined. Seats are available on a first come first serve basis.

Club coaches are welcome to join us. While some costs will be covered by Canada Futures, flights are the responsibility of the club coach. We recommend coaches request to have their flights covered by their respective associations.
